Job Description

We are seeking a skilled sales hunter for our EdTech remote opportunities team. Specifically, you’ll drive sales of software solutions, consulting, and IT services within our PDES division. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in New Business Development. Furthermore, this role requires expertise from lead generation to closing deals. Moreover, you’ll need a strong network within the industry.

Sales Hunter Key Responsibilities for Remote EdTech Role:

  • End-to-End Sales: Initially, you’ll manage the entire sales process. This includes prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating, and finally closing PDES opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Furthermore, cultivate credible, long-term relationships with prospects and customers. Consequently, this will encourage repeat business.
  • Revenue Generation: Similarly, you’ll achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets. Therefore, both recognized and collected revenue goals must be met.
  • Opportunity Management: Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely records of contact and opportunity information.
  • Account Development: Additionally, identify and develop new accounts. At the same time, expand business within existing accounts.
  • Industry Representation: Attend and represent the company at various business and industry meetings, conferences and trade shows.
  • Channel Strategy: Implement a comprehensive channel and partner strategy with multipoint lead generation to maximize outreach.
  • Network Utilization: Leverage existing networks and alliances to uncover additional sales opportunities.
  • Customer Alignment: Set customer expectations consistent with Happiest Minds’ service offerings and delivery capabilities.

Key Result Areas (KRA):

  • Target Achievement: Must meet and/or exceed quarterly sales targets.
  • Forecasting: Provide accurate forecasts for business deals to be closed.
  • Collaboration: Support other Business Unit Business Development Managers (BDMs) in achieving PDES targets.
  • Holistic Business Development: Drive new business initiatives that encompass all service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales hunter roles, particularly in EdTech remote environments
  • Proven track record in IT services sales with a focus on software solutions and services.
  • Strong understanding of the local market and a well-established network of industry connects.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Self-motivated and ability to run end-end deal lifecycle.
