Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ERP Data Migration Specialist to lead and execute comprehensive ERP Data Migration projects for our organization. This critical role involves managing the complete data migration lifecycle from our legacy ERP system to a modern ERP platform, ensuring seamless data integrity, consistency, and minimal disruption throughout the ERP Data Migration process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a full-scale data migration strategy covering:
  • Data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading (ETL)
  • Map and translate data accurately between legacy and new ERP systems.
  • Analyze and resolve data quality issues including redundancies, inconsistencies, and missing values.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to identify mission-critical data and define retention policies.
  • Establish and execute data quality assurance checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and reliability of migrated data.
  • Build and manage ETL processes for high-volume, structured data transfer.
  • Perform system and user testing to validate migrated data integrity and operational usability.
  • Generate regular progress reports and proactively address risks and challenges in the migration process.
  • Maintain documentation for all processes, mappings, and quality checks for audit and compliance purposes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP data migration, working with both legacy and modern ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL and extensive experience with data migration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Microsoft SSIS).
  • Deep understanding of ETL processes, data structures, and data normalization techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in data governance, regulatory compliance, and secure data handling.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Experience with cloud-based ERP migrations (e.g., Oracle Cloud ERP, Dynamics 365, SAP S/4HANA).
  • Domain knowledge in manufacturing, finance, or supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
