Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills in clear English, as this is vital for effective team collaboration and project success.

Responsibilities

Application Support and Development

Primarily, you will debug, support, maintain, and test software/web applications that support business units or supporting functions. Additionally, this role involves working extensively with PHP frameworks and related technologies.

Technical Expertise

Moreover, you will demonstrate a strong command of various technologies including Bitbucket and Bitbucket pipelines, Kubernetes (k8s), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Helm, Flux, Argo CD, Kafka, Golang, PHP, Terraform, Docker, Redis, Grafana, Prometheus, and MySQL.

Team Collaboration

Consequently, you will play a significant role in cross-functional international teams, contributing to efficient and prompt responses to customer demands while ensuring high levels of performance and scalability.

Skills & Qualifications

Educational Requirements

First and foremost, we require a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant coursework.

Professional Experience

In addition, candidates must have 5-7 years of seasoned experience in DevOps engineering and automation with a focus on DevOps tooling and best practices.

Technical Skills

Furthermore, advanced skills in CI/CD automation and end-to-end testing are essential, including proficiency in GitOps.

Cloud Platform Knowledge

Similarly, we require experience in Google Cloud Platform. However, we consider Amazon AWS experience a plus.

Architecture Understanding

Moreover, candidates should have a solid understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable application architecture.

Problem-Solving Abilities

Finally, the ability to excel in personal initiative, problem-solving, and team collaboration is crucial.

Desirable Experience

Advanced Education

Ideally, candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Project Management Skills

Additionally, the following project management competencies are highly valued:

  • Experience in managing design and development projects
  • Proficiency in defining usability objectives aligned with business goals
  • Skills in identifying milestones and goals
  • Experience in creating User Personas, User Stories, User Flows, and information architecture

International Experience

Furthermore, we highly value experience working with international or cross-cultural teams.

Front-End Proficiency

Lastly, experience with JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Webpack is desirable. In addition, experience with HTML5, JQuery, AngularJS, and CSS3 is considered a plus.
