8th US-India Conference to Bridge AI, Global Dynamics, and Health Innovation

US-India Conference 8th edition discussing AI technology, global dynamics, and biomedical innovation at UCSC Santa Clara

The eighth annual US-India Conference AI technology summit represents a crucial reassessment of the relationship between the United States and India. Against a backdrop of rapid technological change and shifting global dynamics, this US-India Conference AI technology event will tackle the critical question of whether this partnership is heading toward “Normalization or Reset?”

Co-hosted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) and the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), this year’s summit will convene on Tuesday, October 7th, at 2:30 p.m. at UC Santa Cruz’s Silicon Valley Campus in Santa Clara.

Redefining a Consequential Partnership

The US-India relationship, built on a blend of strategic interests and shared democratic principles, has recently encountered friction over trade, tariffs, and technology. The conference is designed to facilitate insightful discussions on how leaders from both nations can realign priorities and define the future of the partnership in an increasingly multipolar world.

Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman International, AIMA, and Chairman of Hero Enterprise, emphasized the summit’s timely importance: “The need for strong U.S.–India collaboration has never been greater. This gathering offers an opportunity to examine how our two nations can join forces to tackle pressing global issues and contribute to the benefit of our two nations and our people.”

Spotlight on Three Core Themes

The event will focus on key areas of mutual interest that will define global cooperation and prosperity over the next decade. Expert sessions will explore:

  1. The Future of AI and Critical Technologies: Discussions will center on the emerging competition over AI standards, regulatory influence, and ensuring fair access to critical technologies that drive national economic growth.
  2. Global Conflict and Cooperation: Panels will address the fragility of the current global order, the risks posed by escalating conflicts, and the crucial role India and the U.S. can play in rebalancing international dynamics.
  3. Biomedical Breakthroughs and Human Health: Sessions will examine the convergence of AI, genomics, and metabolic science, exploring innovations that are set to personalize and revolutionize human well-being and health outcomes.

UC Santa Cruz Chancellor Cynthia Larive highlighted the importance of academic and industry collaboration: “Looking ahead, collaboration in technology, innovation, and other emerging fields will be essential to advancing prosperity for both nations. This conference helps shape the conversation and shows possible paths to a positive and sustainable future.”

Who Will Be Attending

The conference brings together a diverse group of stakeholders, including corporate executives, professionals, researchers, scholars, and students. Attendees will include influential leaders from major corporations such as Google, Tata Steel, Hero Group, Triveni Turbine Ltd, Tata Chemicals Ltd, and other organizations, alongside academic experts from UC Santa Cruz.

Following the panel discussions, a dedicated networking session will allow attendees to connect directly with the delegation of visiting CEOs and Silicon Valley executives. AIMA, the apex body for management in India, co-hosts this conference as a key platform to foster invaluable exchange on the evolving landscape of business, technology, and international relations.
