Karnataka has emerged as one of India’s leading startup hubs, ranking second in BHASKAR portal registrations with 20,004 entities as of June 30, 2025. Maharashtra continues to lead the startup race with 33,845 registrations, as shared in the Rajya Sabha during the Monsoon Session of Parliament.
The BHASKAR (Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry) platform, launched under the Startup India programme, is designed to strengthen collaboration within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Startups, investors, mentors, service providers, and government bodies are brought together to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and access growth opportunities.
Each registered entity on BHASKAR is assigned a unique ID, enabling peer-to-peer networking, scheme integration, and collaborations both within India and globally.
