 Position Overview 

The Team Lead—Professional Services will independently manage complex projects, oversee deliverables, allocate resources effectively, and collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure seamless execution. The ideal candidate is a solution-oriented tinkerer with deep knowledge of test automation frameworks and a strong emphasis on project management. This role requires a proactive leader who can deliver high-quality outcomes while fostering innovation and teamwork. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Project Management: Independently plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables within scope and budget. 
• Resource Allocation: Strategically assign resources to optimize team performance and meet project objectives. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team to align on project goals, integrate feedback, and ensure seamless communication across departments. 
• Deliverable Oversight: Review and ensure the quality of project deliverables, maintaining alignment with client expectations and company standards. 
• Test Automation Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of test automation frameworks to guide technical implementation and troubleshoot issues. 
• Problem-Solving: Act as a solution-oriented leader, proactively identifying challenges and implementing creative, effective solutions. 
• Innovation and Tinkering: Experiment with new tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance project outcomes and drive continuous improvement. 
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to manage expectations, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction. 
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. 

Qualifications 

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in project management, professional services, or a related field. 
• Proven track record of independently managing end-to-end projects in a technology or testing environment. 
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, including but not limited to: ▪ Selenium: For web application testing across multiple browsers. 
• Cucumber: For Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin syntax. 
  ▪ WebdriverIO: For JavaScript-based web and mobile testing. 
  ▪ Appium: For automating native, hybrid, and mobile web apps on iOS and Android. 
  ▪ Calabash: For BDD-style mobile app testing. 
  ▪ Eggplant: For user experience testing using image-based automation. 
  ▪ Cypress: For modern web application testing with fast execution. 
  ▪ TestNG: For Java-based unit and functional testing. 
  ▪ JUnit: For Java unit testing. 
  ▪ SpecFlow: For .NET-based BDD testing. 
  ▪ Robot Framework: For keyword-driven acceptance testing. 
  ▪ Katalon Studio: For integrated web, mobile, and API testing. 
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages, with a preference for Python or Java. 
• Expertise in the test automation frameworks listed above. 
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. 
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams on code-level discussions when necessary. 
• Expertise in project planning, resource allocation, and risk management. 
• Technical Skills: 
• Project Management Skills: 
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, or similar). 
• PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is a plus. 
• Solution-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving and innovation. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. 
• Leadership ability to inspire and guide a team toward common goals. 
• Curiosity and a “tinkerer” mindset, eager to explore new tools and technologies. 
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
